Red Lobster's Cheddar Biscuits Recipe

We don't have a Red Lobster where I live even though I live on the coast.  It is a little odd but I guess lobsters are more plentiful elsewhere.  For some odd reason, there are Red Lobster restaurants in the midwest where it isn't even close to the water.  How do the lobsters get there?

Anyways, even if I can't go to a Red Lobster, there are copycat recipes out there for their famous cheddar biscuits.  My girlfriend knew that I was already trying out different copycat recipes so when she found this easy "cheat" she bought it for me.

Wow!  It's a Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix.  Inside the box there are 4 packs of biscuit mix and each pack makes 10 biscuits.  I love that it's all separated because these fresh biscuits don't keep long.

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Recipe (from the side of the box of course):

3/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 package cheddar bay biscuit

Preheat oven 425 degrees.  Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

1.  Stir together water, cheese, and biscuit mix until dough forms (do not overmix).

2.  Scoop dough immediately into 8-10 portions and place 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.

3.  Bake 14-16 minutes or until golden brown on top.

4.  Melt 1/3 cup butter in microwave safe bowl, add 1 pouch garlic herb blend and stir until blended.  Spoon or brush 1 teaspoon garlic herb butter sauce onto each HOT biscuit.  Serve immediately.

  Quick and easy!  So delicious!

Fresh cheddar biscuits to be served with stew, soup, steak, whatever your heart desires.  It is best served hot from the oven, that's when the biscuit will melt in your mouth.

Enjoy!
