Easy Recipes: Japanese Udon

Using leftovers, I made Japanese Udon in one pot one night.  First you have your udon and MISO Shiri which I bought at at Fujiya, Japanese Grocery Store.  Those are the basics.  Then I looked in my fridge to see what I had.  I used carrots, mushroom, and chicken.  Toss it all in a pot and you have dinner.  It's better than student cooking because of the Miso but not an elegant meal.  I put in a dash of pepper and paprika to give it a spicy kick.  The Miso paste has lots of flavour so that's what makes it the Kraft Dinner of Japanese cooking.
